Cuba visa for Peruvian citizens
Peruvian travellers can organize the Cuba tourist visa online, using the passport they will present during the trip. The common preparation issues are practical: a DNI is not the passport number, both printed surnames belong in the correct field, and a connecting-country visa remains a separate task. Complete those checks before reviewing the service price.
Can Peruvian citizens apply for a Cuba eVisa?
Yes. Peruvian ordinary passport holders can apply for a Cuba tourist eVisa. Use the passport number and full passport names, and verify any transit permission needed for your itinerary.
Check another passport nationalityPeruvian passport surnames and given names
Check the passport’s surname field for the complete family name, including the second surname where printed. Put your given names in the separate box. The application should not lose a surname simply because a flight search displayed only one.
Inspect the passport number directly, paying attention to characters that can be mistaken for one another. If you plan to renew or replace the document, resolve that first and then apply using the intended travel passport.
Plan a connection as a separate document check
A flight from Peru can include a stop in another country. Check that country’s requirements for a Peruvian passport and the actual connection type; a visa for Cuba does not grant access to an intermediate airport or border.
For a multi-country holiday, list the return and onward flights in order. Have the details ready for travel and the arrival declaration, even though the initial application form does not request a flight-ticket upload.
Review contact details before submitting from Peru
Enter a reachable email and make the repeat-email box identical. A work or university inbox that becomes inaccessible while travelling is less useful than an account you can continue to monitor.
Keep the received code, completed D’Viajeros document and insurance information in a saved travel folder. Review the US$59 service total in dollars and any bank conversion into soles before paying; the service does not promise a fixed local-currency amount.
A Peru–Cuba itinerary with separate connection tickets
If the journey from Peru is bought in separate ticket reservations, ask the carrier how the passenger will transfer at the connection airport. A self-transfer can involve collecting baggage or leaving the transit area; whether an additional permission is required must be checked with that country's authority and the airline. The Cuban eVisa only addresses the Cuban visa stage of the itinerary.
Before paying for this service, list the passport used, the connection country and the return route. Resolve any uncertain transit permission separately. Do not assume that a confirmed ticket means the carrier has checked every immigration condition for the Peruvian passport.
Example: the DNI record and passport show names differently
Use the passport's surname and given-name fields as the reference for this application. If another identity record or an airline account arranges the names differently, compare the actual components before entering them; do not copy a whole profile string into one name box. Include each surname shown in the relevant passport field.
The same distinction applies to the document number. Enter the passport number, not the DNI number, and review the date of birth from the passport. A relative completing the English form should ask the traveller to verify the final details. Keeping the receiving email under the traveller's control makes later corrections easier to follow.
What to prepare for the online application
Use the Peruvian passport intended for this journey. The current form asks for the following details:
- Passport nationality and passport number.
- Surnames and given names as printed in the passport.
- Date of birth and sex.
- Email address, entered twice to confirm it.
- Phone number, if you choose to provide one.
No passport scan or portrait upload is requested in the current service form. Insurance, return or onward travel and the arrival declaration are separate travel preparations; they are not upload fields in this application.
Cuba eVisa cost and application steps
Our online application service costs US$59 per traveller. This is our independent service price, not a quoted government consular fee. Read the service terms and refund policy before paying. You can also consult the official government application directly.
- Enter your passport details. The application opens with Peru selected. Review names, passport number, birth date and email.
- Review the application and service price. Confirm the information and displayed total before continuing to the payment stage.
- Monitor the application. Keep your reference and use the application status page for an existing request. Allow time before departure; no approval deadline is guaranteed.
- Prepare the separate arrival declaration. After receiving the issued visa code, follow the official D’Viajeros portal instructions and save the arrival QR.
The tourist route is generally for one entry and an initial stay of up to 90 days, subject to the issued visa and current Cuban rules. Work, study and special passport circumstances need their own advice. Cuban authorities decide approval and admission.
Start my Cuba eVisa applicationPeruvian passport questions, answered
Can I use my Peruvian DNI number on the Cuba application?
The travel-document field asks for a passport number. Use the passport intended for the Cuba journey, not the DNI number.
Can Peruvians apply from a country where they currently live?
The online application uses passport nationality. Select Peru for a Peruvian passport, and check separately whether your residence or departure location adds travel requirements.
Does a Cuba eVisa cover a connection through another country?
No. Check the connecting country’s requirements for your passport and itinerary independently. The Cuba visa route does not supply that permission.
How much does this Cuba eVisa service cost?
Our online application service costs US$59 per traveller. This is the price of our independent service, not a quoted government consular fee. Check the total and service terms before paying.
What information does the online application ask for?
The form asks for passport nationality, passport number, surnames, given names, date of birth, sex, email and repeat email. Phone is optional. The current form does not ask for a passport scan or portrait upload.
Is D’Viajeros the same as a Cuba eVisa?
No. The eVisa is the visa application; D’Viajeros is Cuba’s separate arrival declaration. After receiving the visa code, use the official D’Viajeros portal to complete the arrival formalities in its permitted time window and save the resulting QR code.
Is approval or a processing deadline guaranteed?
No. Apply before your journey and allow time for review or corrections. Payment does not guarantee approval or admission. The Cuban authorities decide the visa outcome and entry permission.
