Common Questions About the Cuba eVisa

Review the most frequently searched Cuba eVisa questions before starting your application.

The Cuba eVisa is an electronic visa for eligible visitors. This website provides private application assistance. Cuban authorities decide whether to issue the visa and whether to admit a traveller at the border.

No. evisacuba.com is an independent application assistance service and is not a Cuban government website or embassy. You can also apply directly through the official evisacuba.cu portal.

The form asks for passport nationality, passport number, surnames, given names, date of birth, sex, email address and a repeated email address. A phone number is optional. Enter names and passport details exactly as shown on the passport you will use for travel.

Our Cuba eVisa application form does not request a passport scan, passport-style photo or other document upload. You enter the passport details in the form. A separate payment-proof upload is available only when using a payment method that requires it.

Our current application form does not ask for flight dates, a flight booking or hotel details. Travel details may still be needed for the separate official D’Viajeros declaration or checks by your airline and Cuban border authorities.

The price displayed on this website is US$59 per applicant. Review the total on the confirmation and payment pages before paying. This is the price of our private assistance service, not a quotation of the official government portal fee.

Check your passport nationality in the eligibility checker, complete the application form, review the confirmation and continue to payment. Saving the form alone does not mean a visa has been approved or issued.

Every traveller should check the nationality of the passport they will use. Some nationalities are visa-exempt and others need a Cuban consulate review. Our form prevents an online visa order for these categories. Residence or departure country alone does not determine passport eligibility.

Yes. The Add another traveller option saves the current traveller and opens another form in the same application group. Review each traveller separately. Each applicant is charged the displayed per-applicant price; the combined total appears before payment.

You can edit a saved, unpaid application in your authorized session and review it again before payment. For a paid application or one already in processing, contact support as soon as you notice an error. A correction after government submission may require further action and cannot be guaranteed.

Open Application Status and enter your application number and the email used for the first traveller in the application group. If they match, a six-digit code is sent to that email. Enter the code to access the group. The code is valid for 10 minutes and up to five verification attempts.

Check your spam folder and confirm that you entered the original application email and reference correctly. You can request a new code after the current code expires. If you cannot access the original email, contact support; knowing the application number alone does not unlock a record.

No. Cuban authorities decide visa approval. Review and government processing can vary, so submit accurate details in advance of travel. Do not treat a saved application, payment confirmation or estimated timing as an issued visa.

Yes. D’Viajeros is Cuba’s official traveller declaration and is separate from our application form. Follow the instructions on the official portal, enter the visa code if required and keep the resulting QR code available for your journey. Completing this website’s form does not submit D’Viajeros for you.

A Cuban visa does not grant authorization under US rules. Travellers subject to US restrictions must separately check whether their trip falls within an authorized travel category. Pure tourism is not an authorized category under those rules. Our US country guide links to the relevant official guidance.

A full refund is available if you cancel before our team starts reviewing or preparing your application. A partial refund of up to 50% may be issued once review or preparation has begun, provided the application has not yet been submitted to the Cuban government system. The amount depends on the work already completed; support will explain the calculation. The completed application assistance service is non-refundable after government submission, except for duplicate payments, a verified error on our part or any refund required by applicable law. A visa refusal does not itself qualify for a refund. See the Refund Policy page for request instructions and exceptions.

Yes. The form can be completed on a phone, tablet or desktop. Check your nationality, names, passport number, date of birth and both email entries carefully before saving. No passport photo or document upload is needed for the application form.
